Located in Buvik, Buvik Sea Lodge Apartments offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Each of the units consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom with... amazing place to hunt the northern lights and stay in comfort. A little far from town for the the right setting.

Located on the waterfront, this property is situated in Ersfjordbotn in the Troms Region. Tromsø city centre is 21 km away. I didn't expect that the apartment that I rent was that big. It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

The location is within a 5-minute walking distance from Stroleva Skistadion and a beautiful hike to Rødtinden mountain. If you like spending your time actively, it's a perfect place. The apartment was waiting for us with a key in the door so we could enter it whenever we wanted. The kitchen was fully equipped, including basic seasoning, olive oil, tea, baking paper, and plastic bags. The host was very responsive whenever we needed something.

The host is very friendly and super easy to communicate, always reply quickly. We got clear instructions about keys. Apartment is very spacious and clean, we have everything needed. In addition, you get beautiful view on the sea and fjords, and in the evening you have a perfect spot for aurora!!!

The views are out of this world! We were just in awe constantly. It was such a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing and on hand if we needed them. The villa was equipped with everything you can think of! If you're toying with the idea of staying closer to town or here, which is a bit more remote, then just know that the drive to Tromvik is an experience in itself, every corner you turn you're just hit with another amazing sight! I wouldn't have changed it for the world, every trip out of the villa was just wonderful!
