The building used to be a farm and has now been converted to a beautiful cozy cottage. We were warmly welcomed by Roger, who gave us a tour with us all the instructions. He also prepared , as welcome, drinks and chocolates for each of us, very much appreciated. The place was clean, tidy, warm (we arrived on a cold rainy day) and also fresh flowers were on the table. The house had everything! The last day Miraida came to say goodbye and we had a nice chat! Both her and her husband have been lovely hosts! We'll definetly take again Hoeve op de meer in consideration when visiting Maastricht in the future!

Very well designed modern apartment with great water supply and good equipment. Located very close to the centre of Maastricht with a parking spot outside the apartment which was really handy. We stayed to do the Amstel Gold Sportive which had registration / start about 7/8 miles away but as we wanted to be based in the city , it worked really well. Would highly recommend the apartment

This is the neatest, cleanest, most beautiful guest house we have ever stayed in ever!!! The hosts Elmar and Elizabeth are wonderful people and went way above and beyond what is needed. I will visit Maastricht again and stay with them again as we now view them as friends 🧡

Nice cabinet in the bathroom with a decent sized counter so your stuff doesn't feel like it's in the way. Very responsive Wi-Fi, right in the middle of town, easy walk from train station, quiet in the evening, comfortable bed and pillows, great little kitchen, and a bonus oscillating fan. The little freezer is perfect for fans of making ice too. We were able to half freeze water bottles to get super cold water. Super pleased with our stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive to messaging, and met us right outside the door whenever we let them know what time our train was arriving. We loved it so much we asked if we might be able to extend a day, but it was already booked. Wonderful lodging in a fantastic town.
