The view was just stunning. We really enjoyed the breakfast with the mountain view. We saw some interesting birds, chipmunks and monkeys too. The hosts are welcoming and even though we had an incident in our room with some flying bugs (it was during the rain season), the staff helped us eliminate the issue in 10mins. It's really close to the center and we would've liked to stay another night but they were fully booked. The host let us keep our bags all day and gave us tea while we waited for the rain to calm down before we moved on to the next hotel.

It was only 30 minutes away from Bandarawela and a lot closer to all the major attractions in Ella. It's also situated close to the main road, making it easily accessible. There's free and safe parking at the lodge itself, adding to our comfort and convenience. The place was really nice, impeccably clean and spacious and had a great view from the balcony. The hosts were super friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. They also were kind enough to provide helpful details about the nearby places and the best ways to get there. Highly recommended for couples as well as families who want to enjoy the leisure, study or focus on the work in a peaceful atmosphere and a lovely surrounding.

I went for double bed room. It had best view of Ella. I was able to see little Adam’s peak and Ella rock both in one landscape. Finding exact location of the hotel is bit tricky. So make sure you share location tag to your self and take pictures of the street, to refer. This place is 1.2 km away from main city centre. Aptly placed it’s equidistant from Adam’s peak, Ella rock, Ravana cave and nine arch bridge.

We cannot say enough about the hosts and this property! The hosts (Tissa and his family) were caring, attentive, and warm. We ordered breakfast each morning and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts offer a variety of services that we did not take advantage of (such as scooter rentals). We did book a massage and were happy with the process and service. The property is a private cottage down a steep slope with an incredible view and only a short walk (10 minutes depending on your pace) from the shops and restaurants in Ella. We enjoyed the sounds of nature rather than the town--perfect!! Due to its location, it is not accessible for everyone. In that case, consider the hosts other property up on the road Tree Cool.
