Great location, just 1 min walk to the cable car station and 30s walk to ski-rental shop. The hotel provided the rental discount coupon, only 2500 yen per day!

Very convenient location (less than 5 mins walk) to the ropeway, and also near ski/snowboard rental shops. The host of the accommodation is the sweetest lady. I injured my knee while skiing and she was the most caring figure ever, even passed me some muscle patches, cooling patches and ice packs to help with the injury. She was also extremely accommodating to help us book restaurants and taxis.
Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from Yamagata station. There are plenty of food options around the hotel. If you are renting a car like we did, Toyota Car Rental is diagonally across the road. The staff are very friendly.

The staff was very friendly. They provided helpful advice and pointed me to the bike rental station located inside Takahata station. There is a direct connection from the train station, to the hotel and to the bike rental station, which is very convenient.
Everything was amazing. The room was beautiful, the food delicious, and the beds comfortable. They also had a wonderful hot bath onsite. The owner helped us out by letting us check in early and driving us to the station when leaving because there was an unexpected landslide which made taxis unavailable.
