Was also a handy booklet inside with great local restaurants, facts about Kanazawa, and information for a "Museum Passport" which we took full advantage of. Walking distance from food, museums, and Kanaza Castle. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who comes to Kanazawa, and will try stay here again when I return.

Situated in Kanazawa in the Ishikawa region, KIKI HOTEL is a 1-star property boasting free WiFi. We’re a family of 4 (2 adults, one 4 year old and one baby). We stayed at Kiki hotel for 6 nights after visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but extended our stay because the accommodation and city felt really nice after visiting the big cities. Kiki hotel is truly a hidden gem. It’s exactly as described and even better. It’s quite big for Japanese standards. The women that met us the first day was really nice. They provided coffee and olive oil which is rare in Japan (based on our experience). The kitchen was perfect for us to cook some meals. It was really calm (no noise around). The location is ideal to visit all of the major attractions of Kanazawa. We walked everywhere and didn’t take the bus. For families with young children, there’s a brand new park just a 5 minutes walk away (in front of townsfolk coffee which has amazing coffee). There’s also a really good bakery (Hirami Pan) 100 meters away

Beautiful traditional house. I would recommend it for the experience. The location is great and within walking distance of the train station and main attractions. The kitchen is huge, bathroom area is also large and clean.
