Set in Jaipur, 1.1 km from Sindhi Camp and 2.3 km from City Palace, House of Backpackers offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared lounge and a terrace. We liked everything about this hotel - from the location to the room. The room itself was very spacious, very clean, it had two separate spaces for toilet and shower. Everything is well equipped. The staff is plesant and helpfull. We really enjoyed staying here.

And also their staff are exceptionally helpful and attentive. On an alternative day basis, they are providing housekeeping services also. Important, and this apartment fulfilled my expectations. It was really a great stay.

I had an amazing room in a tower at the corner of the fort with a great view; the building is very old and it was really exceptional to sleep in such an atmospheric and historical place. It was also nice to hang out with Rashid and Ba; they are very social people. I ate a thali on the roof terrace very night; it was very good. Overall it was an excellent experience to stay here and I hope to come back one day. Thank you everone at Magic Home Stay!

Found this place on Booking.com at midnight because none of the other 3 star properties were upto standard and they all felt like lodges instead of hotels. Took a chance since we were exhausted and we booked this place thinking that we'd inspect the place first and then check-in or goto a 5 star property in the end if we didn't like this one too (there was no booking amount charged yet). The place is a few meters inside from the main road but when we checked out the rooms, they were really good and the view of the fort from the room itself was spectacular. What won us over was the service that we received right from the moment we checked in. It was too late in the night with all restaurants closed in the vicinity but Abhishek offered us some fruit and freshly cooked snacks so that we didn't goto sleep hungry. Abhishek and his team is small and they've just started hosting clients for the past few months but the service and hospitality is comparable to a 5 star hotel. The view from the rooftop is great and you can enjoy your evening snacks, dinner on the roof with an amazing view of the entire fort. The place currently has very few reviews but I believe each and everyone is a genuine one. Give them a try when in Jaisalmer and thank me later!!
