The house is just great, wonderfully comfortable, very clean, well equipped, very well decorated, you feel right at home. It is also very quiet. We were lucky enough to see some wonderful sunsets from the living room. Liam and Tina (and Doggy :) ) made us feel very welcome and gave us some very good tips to visit the area, as well as making delicious homemade scones. The location is just perfect to visit all the places in Connemara (Clifden, Sky Road, Diamond hill, the amazing Omey island and so more..).We would have love to stay longer. Highly recommended.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. A fabulous apartment. very clean, comfortable and spacious. Great location, right in the Centre of Clifden, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants. A nice touch upon arrival having teabags, coffee, milk and tea cakes left out. Even fresh flowers left on the table! Great communication with host 😊

Very comfortable and spacious living area.great location in the heart of the village. Owner was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend roundstone harbour lights

Set 20 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial, Drop Anchor House, Spacious 3 bedroom apartment, fabulous sea views offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The owner, Aggie, was a delight and very responsive. She had obviously given great attention to every detail in the apartment. It was spacious and beautifully furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a sitting room, and kitchen. The view was gorgeous. Although Cleggan is fairly remote, it was serene, beautiful and the people were engaging. We ate at Oliver's in the village both nights and the food was delicious. This was one of our very favorite accommodations during our stay in Ireland. *Drop Anchor is fairly close to Kylemore Abbey and Killary Sheep Farm, both worth visiting.
