Because it was located away from the tourist area of Hydra. It was a five minute walk to a lovely taverna where we enjoyed dinners each night. Her father was so kind to meet us at the dock and he carried the luggage in the day we left he met us at the door and carried the luggage again

It was an amazing experience. Tzina and Nektarios were the perfect hosts. They picked us up on the pier when we arrived. Nektarios carried our luggage up to the house -which was such a welcome gesture on a hot day. Tzina had put out fresh fruit, food and wine for us and made us feel so very welcome and taken care of. The apartment was gorgeous, comfortable and spotless. We loved the balcony as the apartment is perfectly located for gorgeous mornings overlooking the harbor and long evenings enjoying the sunset. They were committed to making our visit the most enjoyable possible and had many wonderful suggestions for us that suited our needs and wishes, such as hiking Mt. Eros.
