Staying at Drougas was absolutely fantastic! Yannis was a wonderful host who really cares about his guests. We stayed 10 days and could have stayed much longer. Our room was lovely, fresh and spacious. The rooms are much more spacious than they look in the photos with plenty of room to put your belongings, suitcase etc. The bathroom had been updated in our room with a proper shower cubicle, no shower curtain, yeah. The bed was super comfortable as we had been sleeping on some very hard beds in our 2 months of travel. Our outside terrace was also very spacious and we spent a lot of time there. The kitchen space was big enough to prepare breakfasts and lunches. We loved the location of Drougas. It is in a very quiet location which was quite rural but also very close to the beach and tavernas. Only a few minutes walk. No traffic noise, just birds chickens and goats. We loved staying in Livadi. We felt like part of the community really quickly. The supermarket closest to Drougas even delivers your grocery items so you don't have to carry them in the heat. The entire area is laid back and relaxing and we preferred eating here in the evenings over the Chora which was just too busy for us after staying in Livadi. We used the Asti buses to get around. The Lavadi 5 X 5 stop is only a few minutes walk from Drougas, just by the carpark on the corner. No need to rent a car and way cheaper without any worries that can come with renting a car. Easy to use the app once you have done it the first time. You just need access to the internet but every taverna was happy for us to use their wifi. Livadi beach was actually our favourite. It is a stoney beach but at the end closest to Drougas the stones are very fine and easy to get into the water without hurting your feet. We didn't need beach shoes. Further along the beach you would. The water is super clear and it goes deep really quickly which is great for adults to swim.

Boasting sea views, Popi Studios provides accommodation with a terrace, around 600 metres from Pera Gialos Beach. The property has mountain and city views, and is 1.3 km from Livadi Beach. Where do I start? Our spotless apartment was equipped with everything. Roomy and cool, with a large dining table, seating area, good wifi for working and a super well equipped kitchen that opened to a pretty patio where we enjoyed eating the amazing breakfasts which were delivered every morning. Upstairs the bedroom was cool and quiet with a/c which wasn’t always necessary. We used the upstairs bathroom which had a fixed shower head above and great drainage. Best of all is the wonderful hospitality and kindness of our host. She made our stay feel like a holiday, taking care of us in the best possible way.

Located 700 metres from Astypalaia Castle, Anatoli Luxury Studios offers self-catering accommodation with furnished balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea and the Venetian castle. It was clean and well serviced.

Boasting garden views, Korali features accommodation with balcony, around 300 metres from Pera Gialos Beach. The hosts hospitality was exceptional, felt welcomed and comfortable right from the start. The room we stayed in was amazing with the best view from the balcony to the sea, harbour and the town with it's windmills. Can only highly recommend!

Vithos Seaside Aparthotel is a beachfront property located in Astypalaia Town, a few steps from Pera Gialos Beach and 1.7 km from Livadi Beach. The location was brilliant, the apartment was perfect, the host was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. And it was the only apartment on our travels to 4 greek islands staying in booking.com apartments that had a washing machine, amazing and totally appreciated after 2 weeks of travelling and lots of dirty washing to do !. I totally recommend everyone to stay here. Astypalea, is the real thing, an amazing greek island hidden from the normal travel plans but is beautiful and authentic.

Very nice stay, unfortunately quite short. Perfect location for longer stay or for island hoopers like us. Close to chora and the ferry port. There is a beach in walking distance as well. Cosy and well stocked rooms in Mediterranean style. Big outside space with beautiful view and flowers. The staff is fantastic. Easyly arranged free pick up from port/airport, efficient and quick communication and delicious breakfast fresh out of the bakery in the morning.

Situated within 100 metres of Pera Gialos Beach and 1.6 km of Livadi Beach, Viva Mare Studios features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Astypalaia Town. Perfect location, wonderful and helpful staff. Clean and comfy place.

Castellano Village features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Analipsi, 600 metres from Maltezana Beach. The 3-star aparthotel has city views and is 600 metres from Plakes Beach. This was our first time in Astypalaia and staying at Castellano Village made it an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located at a very lovely spot in the middle of the island with an amazing view of the sea. What makes it more special is the exceptional service of the owners, Nicolas and Christina. They make sure you get all the information you need to enjoy the surrounding area and the island. The hotel has a nice pool and a small taverna with great service. The room was clean and with nice details and you can enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony. Amazing beaches are accessible by foot, including Blue Harbour (Μπλε Λιμανάκι) and Plakes (Πλακες). We definitely recommend staying here if you visit Astypalaia!
