Great location, well-equipped apartment, great value for money

Made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal was lovely and breakfast set me up for the day. Room was comfortable and perfect for my short stay.

Great staff and amazing breakfast. Location was great in Port Ellen. It was convenient to have bike rentals available right behind them.

Unfortunately, breakfast was not available for us ( staying in the flats) It would have been helpful to be at least able to purchase it. It was nice and quiet and clean .We enjoyed staying there . Would recommend to friends/family. Good location :-))

Lovely and clean two bedroom apartment. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine (we didn’t require). Stayed in February so was very cold but the flat was lovely and warm and cosy to come into. A couple minutes from ferry and local bars/restaurants. Host AJ very helpful and understanding of broken glass (thanks). I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future.

View out over the silver sands of Port Ellen Bay, worked very well as 'self catering' guest house. co-op 100m away where we purchased milk and breakfast cereal (fridge was handy) table and crockery/cutlery set in the window. 2 x Takeaways a very short walk away and breakfast menu for hot food delivery :-) loved our stay. Toiletries provided were lovely. Felt like friends visiting rather than guests. WE had bikes which we were able to leave safely inside.

Fantastic location and hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel full of character, residents lounge was very comfortable, with great views over Port Ellen and facilities to eat your own/ takeaway food if required. Breakfast was well stocked and food quality excellent, my sister wanted to come back just for the fruit cocktail! Thank you to the staff for the room upgrade (sea view rooms a must) and also making our short stay enjoyable, relaxing and hassle free. Would definitely use again if visiting Islay.
