A recently renovated apartment in Puerto Ayora and within 600 metres of Galapagos Beach at Tortuga Bay, Alma de cedrela features a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. An extraordinary place to stay, Sophia is the best host I met in quite a while. The room is huge, clean, comfortable. At checkout I could even keep the room some longer because I had the ferry to Isabela at 3PM. Great service!

Located in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, 800 metres from Oro Beach, La Casa de Amelia provides recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. We loved the host family! So friendly & welcoming, made to feel right at home! We were greeted by host at the airport who took a taxi ride with us to her Casa. They were very attentive and helpful with organising activities and taxis for us. Even walked us down to the shop we needed to be at for the 360 tour as they had handled payment & the arrangements for us. We enjoyed the location being in a more local, quieter location than tourist area but very easy to access the dock and main harbour on foot. Filled water machine is provided which was brilliant as it meant we could stay hydrated and hassle free from constantly visiting local shop. Snorkelling equipment was provided too, we were very grateful for this as there are nearby areas to snorkel that you can do yourself. We stayed here at the start of our trip and fell in love with it so much that we stayed again for our final night when back on the island for flight to Guayaquil. On our last morning, as it was so close to Christmas, the host family gifted us a little Christmas stocking! We wish the family every success with Casa Amelia and highly recommend here as a place to stay in San Cristobal. You will be very well looked after here!

Patty House Galapagos is located in Puerto Ayora, 1, 2 km from Charles Darwin Avenue and 1.5 km from the Malecon. Great breakfast, clean room, big bathroom. Warm welcome and informative introduction from the host. He also helped call for texi for me. Many thanks to everything he did.

Galapagos Apartments - Bay View House is a self-catering accommodation located in Bahía de la Academia. It features a terrace and free WiFi access. San Francisco Park is 2 minutes’ walk away. We highly recommend the Bayview House. Connie the owner was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in the comfortable apartment that is in a good location close to the supermarket, wharf and heaps of restaurants.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, Nelyza's Suites & Adventure is a recently renovated aparthotel situated in Puerto Ayora, 1.8 km from La Estacion Beach. This truly is a lovely place to stay. The owners are fantastic and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are good and spacious and there are bikes and snorkelling equipment available to use. In my book a better place to stay than a posh hotel by far.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Maytenus Galapagos is located in Puerto Ayora, 1.9 km from Los Alemanes Beach and 1.5 km from Tortuga Bay. Above the expectations! Modest but has all the necessities and Patricia was just brilliant with all her hospitality and help. Great comfortable bed and decent hot shower.

Boasting quiet street views, Departamento Horizonte features accommodation with a terrace, around 800 metres from Oro Beach. Featuring sea and city views, this apartment also includes free WiFi. Very good location. Got picked up at the port, which was very nice. A short 10 minute walk from the main port and the center. Everything we needed for making food at the apartment and a great view. He gave very useful tips and took us on a tour for a competative price. Kind man with a good taste of music 👏🏼

Situated in Puerto Ayora, 1.5 km from Los Alemanes Beach and 1.5 km from Tortuga Bay, Alojamiento Villa Mar offers air conditioning. Ms Belgica was an incredible host. In addition to comfy, clean and very affordable accommodations, she provided me with a full jug of drinking water, snacks upon checkin, multiple rides around town, help with a finger injury, and helped me book multiple excellent excursions. As a solo female traveler, it makes a huge impact with me to have a safe place to stay with an engaged and helpful host. My only suggestion is bring earplugs, as the room faces a road with traffic noise.
