I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Apartments, Polynikis Sea-Cret, in the serene village of Pachyammos on the stunning coast of Greek Cyprus, and I cannot express my gratitude enough to the incredible hosts. My main motivation for this getaway was to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, seeking calmness and a connection with nature. Pachyammos turned out to be the perfect haven for just that. Nestled in this tiny village, the Holiday Apartments provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the start. Arriving in late November 2023, I found the beach adjacent to the property to be a vast and secluded paradise. The clean sea water was inviting, and I relished the luxury of having the entire beach to myself. The enormity of the beach coupled with the absence of crowds created a tranquil setting for unwinding. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the national park trails leading to the majestic mountains. Hiking and climbing rewarded me with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sheer beauty of the scenery, coupled with the crisp, fresh air, made for an unforgettable experience. The solitude and tranquility at the mountain's peak allowed me to connect with nature in a way that I had long yearned for. The local people of Pachyammos added to the charm of the place. Their warmth and hospitality enhanced my overall experience, making me feel like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. As a nature lover, this destination exceeded my expectations. The place provided a comfortable and cozy retreat after days filled with exploration. The nights were equally enchanting, with a beautiful starlit sky enhancing the overall ambiance. It may sound exaggerated but it was one of the most beautiful and pleasant places we have ever been. The apartment is amazing and spacious with a fireplace for heating at night. The yard is large and with an amazing view of the mountains. The village itself is charming. It is also worth visiting the couple who live next to them in the museum, they are cute and will be happy to show you what the village used to look like and if you want to also provide breakfast.

The place is incredibly cozy, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, which we enjoyed while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding nature. One of the highlights is the location—nestled by a beautiful river, it felt like a private escape into nature. We loved hearing the gentle flow of the water and waking up to the serene sounds of the wilderness. The apartment itself is authentically rustic, yet comfortable, offering a perfect balance between simplicity and modern convenience. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this mountain studio is an ideal choice. I left feeling refreshed and connected to nature. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful escape!

Nestled amidst rich greenery, between the banks of Karkotis and Garillis rivers, Enipnion Apartments is a complex of self-catering units set in Palia Kakopetria village. A very nice accommodation that exceeded all my expectations. Parking nearby. Very friendly owners. The pleasant old town is really something special. I recommend.
