The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hotel has a frog pond and a small walking trail. You can see many different types of frogs and birds in the trees. The Cabanas has one pool, however they are working on building another one, as well as a deck for the one that is currently in service.

This place was sow relaxed, with a jungle and private river in your backyard. We saw even a sloth in the backyard. We loved it! 45 min walk from the city center La Fortuna, but perfect with an Uber and a supermarket and restaurants in 10 min walk. So you don’t have to be in the busy city centre.

Aircon worked great in humid weather. Hosts were so kind and brought lovely homemade breakfast every morning with a lot of smiles.

Also we had a last minute change of plans and the free cancelations was available so we took it. It was not ideal for the host but it was paid back showing respected to the rules and empathy .
