From the main mall Ave Marias (Exito) a taxi costs just under $2. (Based on a 4,000 peso exchange rate).

The location is on the edge of town and from my third floor balcony I had a good view of the mountains. I liked being on the edge of town as last year I spent three weeks in an apt right in town and there were night and morning noises there. The recreation center is right across from your apartment and there are exercise classes with loud music but they only three times a week, mostly 7-8 pm so you can work around that.
