Set in Jianyang, Jinyang Xinyi Hotel - Tianfu International Airport provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. This aparthotel offers free private parking and a lift. A very good experience. Contact them in advance, and they will send a special car to pick you up and take you to the airport the next day. It's great to have a special car to pick you up, and it's free. It's very cost-effective. I recommend this hotel.

Arthur's Roof-Top provides accommodation within 2.3 km of the centre of Chengdu, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a fridge. Great location - there's lots of fantastic food vendors around and a DiDi (Chinese Uber) to the downtown area will only cost you ~$1.50. The streets are bustling at day but will be almost empty at night - but it always felt safe regardless of the time of day. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, regularly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They were always available whenever we needed help and gave us a ton of great recommendations too! In a way, Arthur's Roof-Top felt like a bit of a HUB for tourists and expats coming to Chengdu. The apartment felt very spacious and clean and came equipped with all the amenities you'd expect. The somewhat rustic outside of the building definitely wasn't reflective of the cozy interior. Don't be surprised if the hosts ask you to pay via Alipay or WeChat - this is common practice in the PRC and in accordance with Booking's ToS. You're definitely gonna need those apps once you get to China! Also, you're gonna have to check-in at the local police station upon arrival. The whole process didn't take long and the hosts already had everything set up for us. The cops at the station seemed very friendly and even apologized for not knowing any English. All in all a great experience - I got nothing to complain about.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Chengdu, Ascott Qinhuang Chengdu is an apartment surrounded by views of the city. Staff and service was superb. Left my stuff behind and XiaoLi at the reception kindly posted it to my next lodgings in a city away. The three bedroom suite is very spacious, modern and homely. Plenty of food options from early morning to late at night just under the doorsteps of the hotel. An hour train or 30-50mins uber (depending on traffic) into the the city centre. Good value for money regardless.

Situated along the Jinjiang River, Somerset Riverview Chengdu offers serviced apartments with excellent river view. - customer service is superb both before and during the trip (English is no issue) - room is spacious and clean, all items in good condition. the view is good over the river. I was happy to be here for 3 weeks. - location is excellent with subway line 1 and multiple bus lines minutes walk away from the building. It's easy for ubers to find as well. - breakfast is great, there are variety of food on weekly rotation, you can have noodles and eggs made to order as well. - my 4 year old played in the indoor playground everyday after breakfast with his new friend from the hotel for at least 1.5 hours. - there is security at ground level 24/7 and concierge is open 24/7 as well. I felt safe staying here. - there is a 7/11 at ground level of the building which is super convenient.
