The property is comfortable ,nice , modern , furnished , easy to access, to our our suite by elevator, and I like the luggage room which is well organized inside the building basement ,the suite has every thing we need in the kitchen from the spoons to plate sett, which is includes also,dishwasher,refrigerator, freezer ,in addition to a very good brand of washing machine , moreover, I like the location of the property where there are many shops and restaurants among residential area , near educational establishments such as schools and universities, also , its a steps away from the river where I enjoyed walking beside the river , I highly recommend it .

This is a great place to explore this part of Switzerland. It takes an hour drive to reach different regions. We were focused on hikes. We have never met owners which could be benefit for Booking usuals. If everything is provided and meet your expectations you do not necessary need contact. But still, if you need them, they are there for you.

I have no negative things to say about the apartment. Everything was perfect from the apartment itself to the view of the lake and the location that was 3 walking minutes away from the train station and about 15 walking minutes to the center of Lugano. Free parking was available. Every small and big details were thought of and provided for us. I’ll certainly come back again.

But the apartment inside are well maintained. And you have everything what you need. Stayed 2nights in August and you dont need to go anywhere else. You can relax by the pool and lake. The water in the lake was warm. So it was nice. Alessadra the host was so kind and nice. She give us a welcome Prosseco which she produced in italy. Really good. You can buy more from her. I really recommend. And the view from room 513! O so nice 🥰

Owners made sure that all steps from checking in to checking out are clear and precise, and that guests can just enjoy and relax. 🧘 🙂 In addition, Vietnamese takeout across the street was a hit in my family. Featuring garden views, Lo Scudo di Stabio features accommodation with balcony, around 5.8 km from Mendrisio Station. Really excellent apartment hotel. It felt very safe (there is a main door and it doesn't open directly onto street) and the general location was perfectly fine if you have a car. About an hour/hour and a half to all the top spots in the region like lake Como and verzasca valley etc. Just make sure to leave early to avoid traffic; the main road through the town seems to be the main road for everyone traveling to Varese from Ticino and it can get a little congested. The room was really new, and clean. The kitchen amenities were great and everything we could have needed in terms of cookware was available. A bigger container of salt/cooking oil/dish soap would've been helpful for a long stay, but you can get everything you need in the department stores nearby. Bed was comfortable, and the TV had a very decent selection of channels. It was overall one of the best apartment style hotels we've stayed in. It was probably the newest/nicest building in the entire town. 10-15 minute walk to the train station which is also fair, and I would recommend that if you just want to day trip to Lugano as parking there isn't ideal. You can also easily take the train to Milan for a day. The buses from the train station later at night were also fine and drop you off very close to the hotel. The pizza place down the road was quite nice and also fairly priced for Swizterland. The pastry shop right next to it was also pleasant.

The room was more than we expected, more like an apartment with kitchen and also a washer and dryer. It was spacious and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. Also an underground garage!

The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, the appartment is beautyfull and in a good Location! Everything was very clean and we just had an amazing week there. Would defenitly come back.
