Everything just surpassed all our expectations. Especially our host Frederic - he was one of the nicest most hospitable hosts we've ever encountered. We honestly didn't want to leave. The view from the balcony was spectacular, the apartment is spacious and cozy, very well-designed by Frederic himself. And the food in the restaurant downstairs is marvellous. I will return back to stay here for sure. You know when you like something so much, that you want to share it with the whole world? That's the deal with this Vieux Chalet - they deserve all the recognition and success possible!

Offering barbecue facilities and quiet street view, Ferienwohnung Burg Murten is located in Murten, 27 km from Bern railway station and 28 km from University of Bern. We loved the property and the location. The apartment was very well equipped indeed - possibly the best we’ve seen! Not too sure who or where our host was but thank you Pierre for your welcome and the box of garden fruits on departure!

The accommodation was out in the countryside with life animals and a fantastic view. After nine or ten PM everything was quiet and peaceful .

I had an excellent time in the apartment while visiting Fribourg for a music festival. The studio was comfortable, quiet, good-sized and nice-looking. Fribourg is a wonderful town to visit.
