I liked how the door was coded entry so I didn't need to have to carry keys.

The Green Turtle Eco Lodge is located in the Jan Thiel district of Willemstad, 3 km from Jan Thiel Bay Beach, 6.3 km from Curacao Sea Aquarium and 8.6 km from Queen Emma Bridge. We spent a wonderful three weeks at Green Turtle Eco Lodge. The lodge is several self-catering apartments with a shared pool and laundry facilities. Davide and Marta are very attentive hosts, generally present at the building at least once every day or available whenever you need them via WhatsApp. Davide was very helpful to us when we ran into a problem with our rental car. Marta is a yoga instructor and is even available to be hired for private sessions by the pool! The pool area is very quiet because it is only for use by guests of the lodge. Several days we had it all to ourselves! It’s a great place to relax on a “down day” or to cool off after a long day of sightseeing. Parking is a small gravel lot just off the road with spaces for 6 cars. The Lodge is located off of the main road that runs between Willemstad and Jan Thiel beach area. A rental car is advised and Davide can help to arrange one for you. Being away from the main road and the beach club areas means the Lodge is very peaceful. The lodge is a perfect base for a long stay (we stayed for 3 weeks) and the wifi was excellent, I was able to work remotely. Davide is able to arrange to “meet and greet” you at the airport and/or bring you to the airport for departure, all for a reasonable fee to cover his time and gas. Kitchen appliances were provided like a toaster/toaster oven, coffeemaker and the kitchen dishes were enough for 2-4 persons.

17 km from Queen Emma Bridge, Thuishaven Boutique Mini-resort is a recently renovated property located in Willemstad and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Had a great stay at Thuishaven! Very affordable and comfortable place to stay that is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. The hosts were very accommodating (thanks for the bottle of wine!) and helpful when we needed any support or information. The very friendly cats were a special treat! Thanks for a great stay, guys!

Very comfortable, spacious apartment with all the amenities one could need, in an upscale (tourist) neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Nice swimming pool, never crowded during the week we stayed there. Short walking distance to the beach, entry to the beach included. The beach itself is nice, the water is very clear and the gulf is calm and good for swimming. We haven’t snorkeled there but there were a lot of people snorkeling and diving. Comfortable drive to the beautiful beaches of the northwestern side without having to cross Willemstad.

Gray Door Apts was everything and more!! The hospitality from AJ was like non other. The room offered everything you'd need and more. We so enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.
