A good location to walk to the shops, supermarkets and cafes. We walked to the bridge and then along a boardwalk beside the water. The bird life was fantastic. We had a wonderful stay at the apartment, and would recommend it wholeheartedly. It was good to have a garage (with automatic door) - so convenient. We stayed in an enormous ground floor apartment The view from the patio doors looking across the Basin (like an enormous lake) was magical. The apartment had everything we could possibly need. Scott & Lisa were very generous hosts, asking us, prior to our arrival, whether we would like bacon & eggs or a continental breakfast. We also had milk, bread, cereal, tomatoes, fruit, jam, etc. The bed was very comfortable. They had also offered, free of charge, the use of their kayaks/life vests. We ate at the Country Club, where the choice of food was large and a very quick walk from the apartment. The walks along the water's edge were a lovely way to relax. We saw kangaroos, a bandicoot and many parrots and birds. The most spectacular sunset completed our memorable stay. We would definitely return if we travelled this way in the future.
