Facilities were enough for cooking meals and nestling comfortably after busy days. Queen bed was super comfortable.

We were so excited to stay at this property for 6 nights... then the KI ferry changed our itinerary last-minute and cut a day off of our trip. Linda was an absolute godsend when we reached out to modify our reservation; she was understanding, responsive, and helped us rearrange the details of our stay to accommodate our new schedule. Throughout our stay, she helped keep the property in working order and kindly checked in on us. The apartment itself was clean, very well-equipped (especially the kitchen and laundry facilities!) and nicely sized for a family of 4. We were very comfortable using it as our home-base; we were never more than an hour and a half away from any part of the island. We'd highly recommend for a KI stay!

Very clean and well apportioned rooms. Nice selection from breakfast available. Great location and staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet and close to everything in Kingscote. Lovely bedlinen and tiwels.

The farm is beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, and it's the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and the fresh country air was a treat. We particularly loved interacting with the farm animals—it was such a unique experience, especially for the kids! Ronald was an excellent host, providing helpful local tips and even showing us around the farm. The location is great too—just a short drive to some of the island’s best attractions, including breathtaking beaches and wildlife reserves. We enjoyed exploring during the day and relaxing by the fire at night. Overall, Ronald's Roost is a hidden gem on Kangaroo Island, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic farmstay experience. We’ll definitely be back!
