We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Apartment is comfortable, nicely updated, and well-maintained. Kitchen was well-stocked and there were extra linens, which we appreciated for our longer stay. Wifi worked well. Hosts were accommodating and responsive. Easy to get to from the main train station for those without a car and who don't mind walking a block uphill, plus several flights of stairs.

La Sonett ligger i Gmunden, 49 km från Ried Exhibition Centre och 33 km från Kaiservilla, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och en sittgrupp. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Gmunden with easy access to all the interesting bits, the lake, the shops, the bars. It was also a comfortable walk to the Grunberg cable car. If you have a sweet tooth, you will enjoy the superb cakes and patisseries at both Grellinger and La Sonett. The apartment itself was well-equipped and I appreciated the air conditioning on hot days. For me, the location and the nice people at La Sonett made this a perfect stay for one person travelling alone with no car.

The apartment is amazing, familiar and great design, the small details and artistic character are great! The guest house is in the best location, shop, restaurant, bus stop nearby, you can also swim in the lake not far away. The staff and the owner are very kind, hospitality surrounds the whole place, I recommend it. We will definitely come back, even with the family.

Each apartment in the building looks different, but the top floor apartment (Traunseeblick 3) is one of the best rental apartments I have ever stayed in and Nina is the best host I have ever met. Firstly, the apartment is gorgeous, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and veey comfortable. Everything in the apartment seemed brand-new and was of the highest quality. The kitchen is very well equipped, and not just symbolic utensils to check the box that they are provided but rather carefully thought out and useful things. The balconies (there are 2) - wow. Breathtaking views over the Traunsee with the Schloss Ort and the mountains in the background. Pictures do not do justice to the place. It is well situated by the tram stop, lakefront and supermarkets. Finally, Nina is phenomenal- so kind, sweet and caring, and genuinely will do anything to make your stay as fantastic as possible. She bought us beers as a welcome gift because we don't drink wine, she gave our baby a soft toy as a gift also, and was so willing to go out and buy anything that might be missing from the apartment. She is available for abything you may need. If i could rate this place more than 10 I would!
