They also offered to drive me to the old town, which is a short but uphill walk. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a nice cup of homemade herbal tea and a cake. Nice welcome gesture! Freshly picked cherries were also on the table. The property is easy to find, close to the main road, but on a relatively quiet street. You can park in the courtyard in front of the apartment inside the locked gate. The apartment is new and functioning. Very clean, also the bathroom. The room is big enough, with a comfortable bed. It is nicely furnished, with several books on the shelves. Tiny kitchen is in a separate room (although I did not use it as there were many excellent, affordable restaurants in town). Breakfast was delicious, especially freshly prepared soft fried dough, home-made cherry marmalade and fresh fruits.

A couple of good restaurants nearby and well placed location for the hot springs. Lovely setting. Rooms were very comfortable.

There's even a shower cabin! We only stayed for one night but it would be a great location for longer stays. Beds are comfy, kitchen has all you need to prep your meals and there's a huge balcony with nice view. Very centrally located, just few steps from shops, cafes etc. Breakfast served by the owners is a nice addition. Keep in mind that the owners only accept payment in EURO so have some ready.
