Constantia View exceeded our expectations. We took the time to read the listing in detail, and there were, therefore, no surprises. Our unit (the Africa Unit) was modern and beautifully finished with an eclectic mix of furnishings & ornaments. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was great to have access to a pair of barbeques, one gas and one charcoal, on which to braai in the evenings. The staff on the premises were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. The owner had indicated by way of a letter prior to our arrival that she would be on vacation during our stay, but this did not stop her from ensuring that we had everything we needed. Toko, the housekeeper, was very helpful, as were the two gentlemen working on site. There was ample parking off-street, and the high walls and large gate at the front helped to make one feel secure. This is important when travelling in South Africa, and special care has been taken in this regard. I discovered that I could walk from the apartment gate for 0.5km and enter the Groot Constantia Wine Estate at a gate near the staff quarters! This was amazing and highlights just how well-located the place is.
All in all, a 10/10 experience.

Everything was so pretty , the whole room was amazing very comfortable and well decorated .
We loved the little notes that were placed in all the right places they were too cute and quirky .

The absolute best place to stay, if you ever find yourself in need to explore Muizenberg. It feels like home from the moment you arrive. The kindness overflows in the form of little notes to tell you how everything works, a light and powerbank for when loadshedding arrives, a booklet with info on what to do and what to see. As well as little gifts everywhere , even for Pote. They are pet friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend anyone to stay here. And take my advise, book for more than one day, you will want to stay forever.

We loved our time at Bicycle Lodge. The Apartment was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. Sharon and John were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
Spacious, clean, safe and very conveniently located for accessing all the points of interest in the Cape. Numerous restaurants and cafes close by. Apartment is connected to the hosts’ property but still very private with its own garden/sunbathing patio.
It was an amazing place with a warm welcome and a real home feel, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable also the pool was a blessing in the heat. Will definitely recommend and the breakfast was great, enjoyed the short stay.
The unit was cleaned by the staff everyday. We came back to a perfect apartment after a long day. That was a great plus. Swimmingpool perfect for the kids and the beds are huge and comfy. Love the heated towel rail. Attention to every detail was made.
We received an upgrade, into a large 2 Bedrooms, Kitchen, Pool Apartment version. As we were only two, we have chosen the cosy Bedroom under the roof. Everything is very, well designed, high quality furniture and bath rooms. The view of 23 over the winefield and the old oaks is spectacular. Helpful is also the multi standard powerstrips for about 6 different plugs. Samsung TV with open smart view. Great spa treatment. The food was very. Would be great to have a daily/weekly special menue. Beautiful garden and terrasses.
