A charming guesthouse on a quiet street in the heart of Parys. Belinda is a fabulous host, who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent value, comfy beds, great shower, and personal touches like delicious rusks for our tea/coffee, chocolates and sherry. I can highly recommend.

The host gave us information well in advance and was available on the day to be called when we were unsure of the location.
The house is spacious and beautiful just as advertised. It was cosy and had everything we needed. There was also back-up electricity for the one outage.
They provided a coffee and tea station and even a cute small box of milk for our use.
Everything was clean and neat.
The location was close to most restaurants and was safe and quiet (all you could hear are the birds which was just what we needed).
We were lucky enough to also be provided with firewood for the braai.

The host met us personally and explained everything in person. They have an inverter for loadsheeding that provides lights and internet access during blackouts. We received complimentary sherry and chocolates and coldrinks and wine were available to purchase. Bathrooms were excellent and beds comfortable. The property was easy to access and everything was in working order. Gas stove for cooking during loadshedding.

Lovely farm setting, I'd love to see it in summer again. There were some friendly neighbour donkeys that came to greet us, which was a pleasant surprise. And a warm pooch welcome, he also walked around with us. The unit was well stocked for basic self catering and was quite warm, so no need to even use the electric blanket or heater provided. We even saw the milkyway as it's out of town
The unit was very comfortable and has all that you need for short self catering stay. Good location, very central. The host was very helpful and sorted out minor issues immediately, especially with un-scheduled power outages.
Lovely little studio apartment with a beautiful view of the river and close to hotel and picnic park. Robert was available to answer any questions and we had a lovely break in his rental.
