Leenster and Casper were very friendly throughout our stay, the food was top notch. We will definitely be going there again. The company of the dogs made us feel right at home 😀 as well as the homey feeling of the tree house which we stayed in.

Mi’lady and I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation for our first. Mary (our host) welcomed us with a walkin tour of what inspired the home including tips on where to go hiking. Charles (our caretaker) was a message away and super helpful (thanks for the charger once again). The space is tranquil with a lot of natural light coming in from outside. We loved almost everything about it, especially the isolated garden. The massage topped off our stay. I could go on and on.

My children adored the dogs. The place was clean and the owner and staff friendly. We are definitely coming back. The place reminded me of my grandmother's home; it felt like home. It's close to all places of interest. although this is a self catering place, they put out tea and coffee things for us. Thanks for the rusks. We highly appreciated the fact that there was no television, we got to catch up!
Fantastic, homemade breakfast. Very comfortable apartment, lovely views of the river. The apartment is especially well-equipped, with anything you might need from emergency toiletries to quality Victorix kitchen knives. The beds are incredibly comfortable - we slept like logs. Highly recommended.
The staff is very friendly and they went all their way to make our stay so special and even removed the bathroom door to make the room wheelchair accessible.
