The place was excellent, very clean and comfortable. It has even an iron for the clothes. Olivia was very responsive and kind.
The only thing missing at the apartment were the slippers 🙂
The location was lovely, very beautiful. The basement apartment was huge, clean, sparkling and luxurious. The bed was comfortable. My sister lives nearby and was interested to hear about a place that accommodated so many that was nearby and would like to use it. But the details listed below would need to be addressed.
Host was easily reachable and very polite and helpful. Location was an very easy bus ride to metro that took us straight to DC (our main destination). Apartment was spotless, newly renovated and very well appointed.
Our stay at Germaine's apartment was really nice. The place felt like home, super cozy and clean. It was quiet, but you could hear some noise through the walls since they're not super thick. But it kinda made us feel even more like part of Germaine's family :) The basement had everything we needed for a chill time. You definitely need a car to get around, but it's only about 30 minutes to DC. Overall, a great place to stay for a relaxing getaway.
Great amount of space for the cost. Truly felt like an apartment without the noisy neighbors. Kitchen was stocked with all needed appliances to make your meals. The TV was what you would expect in a modern home. Allowing use with your phone, so that was definitely a plus.
