The location was great! within a 5 minute walk to both ends of town.
The amount of beds gave everyone lots of room to spread out. Plentiful stock of dish soap and shower products. Comfortable beds.
The host was very responsive!

The room we rented was actually an apartment that accommodates 8 people. Best kept secret in Lava. I will definitely be going back to for another stay.
Fantastic, quaint and clean accommodation 1/4 mile from downtown and 1/2 mile from the hot springs. Very clean and comfortable and the best ground coffee I've had at a rental. Thanks very much Steve for a great stay!
I would strongly recommend adding at least one meat option (sausage or bacon) to the included breakfast. We rented the Calishaw apartment for 4 days and several of our 10 person party didn’t go to breakfast because there was no meat offered. We also overheard several other guests complain of the same issue of no meat option being offered. LHSI is our family favorite spot but the breakfast is lacking.
I like it for its small home. away from home feel. it’s more like a little apartment than most hotels. come complete with oven, stove and even utensils. super friendly personnel. this was our second stay at this location and I loved it both times. it’s pretty close to the hot springs very walkable with our family we still drove. it has designated parking which is nice also.
that said it’s not a luxury apartment but we love it here especially for the price.
The apartment was so cute and clean. Beds are comfortable. Love that is has 2 bathrooms. It reminded us of grandma's house. It is creaky and quirky and cute. It is set up to really push you together. We all would hangout in the living room and play games and watch shows and then go ride the river and sit in the pools and come back together again. It was easy walking distance from everything. My girls wanted to live there forever.
The room was very modern looking and very clean. The linen was also nice and clean. A flat screen TV with satellite channels. The wall seems to be well insulated that we didn't hear much of our neighbors on the both sides. Unusual for a motel not to have thin walls through which we can hear so much of the noice from the next door. The desk staff was friendly. Yet the price was more affordable than other places in the area. We will be back again.
