I liked everything! The apartment is beautiful, in front of a friendly-kid beach. It has everything you need to be comfortable, a lot of towels and even stuff for snorkeling and playing on the beach (in the garage). The appliances are modern and in a good status. It has some basics like coffee pods, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. It doesn't have air conditioning but a lot of fans and if you keep the windows open it's nice inside (I don't feel like I needed the AC). Also, if you need a late checkout and they have availability, you can stay a little bit longer for a fair fee. The administrator is very reachable and responsive. For sure we'll come back to this paradise!
Bonus: the place is a 20-minute drive from Waimea Beach, with one of the more famous waves to surf (in winter), and also there are plenty of good local beaches with few people. Very different to Waikiki, full of tourists. Also, there are a lot of good and affordable restaurants with local food.

I'm not sure what the few negative reviews are talking about. Our stay was fantastic, super clean, no loud noises, nothing bad at all. Our host was super communicative and helpful. The location was great if you're looking to get away from the noisy city and traffic (the North Shore is awesome, totally fell in love with it). The property is right on the beach and has an amazing dreamy view that never got old. Loved the wild chickens running around like they own the place.

The location was really amazing, 5 minutes walk only to the beach and a nice bar restaurant, the apartment was well laid out and the owners had left lots of beach things for the kids to use which was great.
They also helped us with checking in instructions which was greatly appreciated.

This apartment was a dream. Once we had the windows opened and the ocean breeze was flowing across the apartment, the view made it seem like we were in a luxury resort. Of course there is AC as well but we barely used it. The unit has everything you need and we appreciated the fast WiFi. Right out your window is a spectacular beach we spent the whole day at. We also took advantage of the location to attractions both big and small and made a couple trips to the Kahuku food trucks. Overall, we'd highly recommend.
Parts of the cozy apartment were remodeled. The kitchen had new appliances. Kitchen had dishes and cups. The apartment was walking distance to the beach. There was a walking path. There were two elevators for the apartment. One was being repaired during part of our stay but the other one kept working. There were extra fans in the apt. We didn't have to park along the street.
Many thanks for letting us leave luggage off a little before our check in time. We appreciated the beach boogie boards, chairs and toys. very nice kitchen, bathrooms and all floors
