The place is very well situated. Accessible (on the island on route # 1, Wiscasset venues can be visited by foot), yet quiet, with wonderful views around, including sunset over broad Sheepscot River. It's a great hub to visit various harbours, islands and trails of Midcoast Maine. Very comfortable

Beautiful apartment on a quiet lot where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful woods surrounding the property. Yet it is only 8 mins drive to Boothbay Harbor or the grocery stores at the heart of Boothbay - so you can get to the boat trips, restaurants and stores easily. The property is less than 5 minutes from the amazing Coastal Botanical Gardens - which are a must for your itinerary. Also take time to explore the whole peninsular knowing you can return to your cosy sanctuary at the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and you have full laundry facilities also. While some people mention the lack of curtains in the property - this did not bother us at all as you are not overlooked (as you are high up) and you gain the light and views from all the windows this way. The furnishings are great quality so it feels like a luxury stay.
