Ocean Delight, hotel in Astoria

Ocean Delight is located in Warrenton, just a 13-minute walk from Del Rey Beach and 0.9 miles from Sunset Beach.

This is an apartment over the garage of a very nice home. It is located in a gated community and has an ocean view about a quarter mile from the apartment. To get there, you walk a path from the back yard across a street and about another 400 yards to the beach. It is a very quiet beach, but oddly, cars are allowed on the beach. There were a few cars there with people camping.

I can't write enough good things about this place and the hosts. The apartment is in a terrific spot -- tucked out of the way in an adorable neighborhood. The decor, the finishes, the bathroom, everything was absolutely wonderful. And, clean. So incredibly clean. It made us feel right at home. I almost hesitate to say anymore because I want it available for our return. Okay, one more thing, the bed was perfect too. The hosts really went out of their way to create a bit of perfection.

Very welcoming and understanding. Had a flat tire early morning on checkout day and were given extra time at checkout so I could deal, and the wifey could relax. :)

For the inflated price the tiny room and the overly firm bed, it was not worth it

This great room with a balcony overlooking the docks was just a delight. There are some dated pieces, but in a charming, whimsical way. We loved the peaceful sea breezes and the wifi was good enough for me to attend an online class with video streaming. The hotel had bikes available for rental (though they were required back by dark, so we didn't go far) and is adjacent to a lovely walking path that goes into the downtown. We especially appreciated the fridge in the room!

Perfect for a short stay. Confortable enough for the price. Clean and in good shape. Swimming pool small but good enough for kids. The hot breakfast is a bit different everyday. Staff is very friendly. Rooms have a good size. Two queen beds plus a sofa bed.

My favorite part of staying at the commodore, are the creaky hardwood floors, marble bathroom tiles, and old style sinks, transom windows. The vibe of the rooms are like an apartment you wish you could live in forever-great view, old building character, high quality finishes, giant windows, furnished minimally but style is fresh, in the perfect neighborhood!
