Our stay at Westwood Residences exceeded all our expectations! We stayed for 1 night before flying out of JRO.
The property is exactly as the pictures shown- the amenities were top-notch and well-thought-out. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, cookware and flatware (although we didn’t cook during our stay). The view of Mt. Meru from the balcony was amazing.
The living room area was comfortable and modern, with plenty of space to relax. Additionally, the unit has good Wi-Fi and having a smart TV added an extra layer of convenience. AC in each room worked very well. The best showers during our 2-week stay in TZ (great water pressure and plenty of hot water)
Last but not least, the host, Eric, was exceptionally welcoming, helpful and provided detailed information about the property, including great local dining options and helped us order dinner delivery for us from the local restaurant, George’s.
Overall, this property was just what we needed after 2 weeks of all the traveling we did in Tanzania. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay!
PS - as of sept 2024, as I write this, there is a major road construction right in front of the property so your ride will have to drive around to the back to access the entrance.
