The en suite hot tub was lovely with a relaxing view over the town to the sea, the swing seat on the balcony was equally relaxing. The owners provided some tea & coffee bags and snacks which were very welcome, especially on arrival. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The furnishing were in very good condition and would have been fine for a stay of weeks. Despite being only 7-8 minutes walk from the train station, the property is quiet and peaceful.
The location was convenient for the train station and the town, a little further away for the beaches and port. There is bicycle rental available in the lobby at a reasonable price, though the TWD4000 deposit for two bicyles was unexpected. Toucheng is a pleasant little town with a good choice of places to eat. We could have easily enjoyed a longer stay than three days there.
There were some restaurants 2-3 minutes walk from the property including a good breakfast place and fruit/juice stand.
The concierge were all very helpful with giving directions and also when we accidently left the room key in the room!
The owners were responsive and helpful, especially when we were unable to find an ATM that would accept our foreign cards.
Overall an excellent stay that we both enjoyed and would be happy to return.

Free sumptious breakfast and adequate afternoon tea provided. Hotel is beautifully designed in Japanese style. I had the loft room which had 2 storeys. Spacious and lovely bedroom upstairs and gigantic bathroom with a large tub for soaking in hot spring water.
It was such a good experience to have hot bathtub in the room. I stayed in a studio with 2 levels, with bedroom at the upper level. All are great except the drainage design. But it doesn’t affect my stay.
I like the most about the big hotspring bathtube in the room. The location is great near many street food selections. It was also great to have free parking.
It is located in an apartment style building, where there live both long-term residents and short-term visitors. So you also get a local feeling too.
The spacious living room with the sleeping loft area above it and the deep spa tub for soaking in the hot spring water are the features we look forward to in our quad room. The staff are friendly and helpful. Conveniently located with easy access to food.
