This newly renovated and beautifully decorated apartment was perfect for my five-week stay in Mahdia. Centrally located in the historic part of the town, it’s within walking distance of all the cafes, restaurants, and shops, and just a five-minute walk to the sea on both sides. With a short walk to the east, you can watch the sunrise, and heading west offers the chance to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets.
The apartment is equipped with everything needed for both short and long stays. It features a very large living area with spacious seating on sectional couches, a smart TV, and a dining table that seats six. An easy-to-use air-conditioning unit cools the entire apartment efficiently. The bathroom has a nice, large shower and drawer storage for all your personal items, with extra towels and bedding provided.
The bedroom includes a very comfortable bed with a new mattress and plenty of closet storage. If you wish to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with a new refrigerator, utensils, and dinnerware. The washing machine, located in the kitchen, is new and convenient for laundry during your stay. Just outside the kitchen is a large terrace, complete with a table and chairs, a charming garden, and a drying rack for clothes. It receives plenty of sunlight and is especially relaxing in the evening, as you can hear the ocean waves and see the stars clearly above.
Mehdi and his wife are incredibly kind and wonderful hosts, always available if needed. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting this beautiful town and wanting to experience all it has to offer.
