We caught the mini bus from Bangkok and arrived at the bus station. This property is about 1 km from there -only a short taxi ride or a 15 minute walk. The building has been in the owner's family for a long time and the apartment is above the owner's cafe with an external access. The area where bus station is the main location for the nightly street food. Breakfast was included and was provided in the cafe. I am plant based and daughter is gluten intolerant and the owner went out of his way to satisfy our needs - exceptional service. Glass bottled water was supplied from the cafe as was ice. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms with a lounge room leading onto a nice balcony and a large modern bath/shower room with a stand-alone full size bath. The location is very safe to walk around at night and the bus station is the place to catch local busses for sight seeing; we caught the local bus to hell fire pass and the swimming pools in the national park. The location was ideal for our travel plans and enjoyed staying in the apartment - the WI-FI was very strong.

Great hotel in close proximity to the River Kwai Bridge train station. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the wifi was good. Also, someone on housekeeping has great towel art skills which kept me impressed. Also, there was a car and motorbike rental nearby (Chang) which made it very easy to get around. I'd be happy to return.
Stayed in a bamboo hut for two nights. Comfortable little resort by the river and near the bridge. Some decent restaurants in the area. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff can help organise trips or bike rentals. Great for a quick weekend getaway from BKK.
Amazing. Clean, welcoming, nice private room, shared bathroom and toilet was so clean and convenient. There is also a great washing machine for free ! Even if there are many guest, all was very ok and clean. Internet works fine and you have services like rental motorbikes or bikes. Everything went perfect. Cosy bamboo huts right next to the river. A short drive to local shops, and adequate restaurants within walking distance. As something "different" to the normal hotel/motel experience, it's a fun place to stay a day or two. The room is comfortable and adequate for a short stay.
Great location and amazing value for money. The free bike rental was amazing as we took advantage of using the bike to ride to River Kwai Bridge to watch the train arriving.
Breakfast really nice to have available ready to eat and the staff were ever helpful and eager to assist when we had any quesitons about the surrounding area. They assisted with places to eat, sites to visit and facilitated motorbike rental which when new to aa place helps massively.
Very nice and quiet guesthouse 8 minute walk from the station and the same to bars and restaurants. Very helpful owner. Clean and comfortable room. The motorbike rental shop across the street is excellent too.
The fact that the guesthouse is really close to the station bus helps these two girls arriving from Chiang Mai very early in the morning. The host was really helpful and being so understanding. She let us pray, freshen up at the lobby area before letting us checking in around 9 (because the guest check out early). Thank you so much.
This hostel grow to 1 of my favourite hostel in Thailand. The cleanliness, the aircon rooms, the rooftop, the benches outside the entrance door, the food market just 2 minutes walk every evening, scooter rental option, Mimi's (the owner) famous rice porridge at some mornings, the surrounding sights to discover, etc, etc...

We stayed in a studio room with balcony overlooking the river, great view. Comfortable bed. Cleaners did a great job. Breakfast was lovely, served either in the breakfast restaurant or on outside tables & chairs. Great pool to cool off. Central location to restaurants & bars, 5 min. tuk-tuk ride to the Bridge.
