The Ljublana airport is in the middle of a bunch of agricultural fields far on the outskirts of the city. There are no airport hotels that service the airport, so having the Avio Apartment is a great way of getting the functionality of an airport hotel. It's a 4 minute drive from the airport, so the location can't be beat.
The apartment was comfortable and extremely clean. There is private off-street parking for cars that is right downstairs from the apartment.

The property was immaculate and well designed with modern amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with the lovely view of the mountains. The Apartma is in a super-peaceful and walkable location, situated conveniently close to the airport, but also rural. The host is so nice and welcoming, she made us feel at home instantly! She provided recommendations for restaurants, which led to one of the best dinners we had on our trip (the Kruhkerija Gorjanc). Of all the places we booked for our trip to Slovenia and Croatia, this one was the most pleasant surprise. We thought we were just booking an affordable place to lay our heads before flying home, but wished we could have stayed longer! We reserved 2 Apartmas for our family of 6 and they were located together on the 3rd floor with a connecting entryway before the main door to each unit, so we had the whole floor to ourselves. There’s also an elevator which helped us bring luggage up and down easily. There are only 3 units , plus the owner’s, so it feels very private and safe. I highly recommend staying at Apartma Ajja. You will be 100% satisfied.
