The apartment (studio?) is in a quiet village, on a quiet street, and it's an absolute gem.
The outside looks like an old, well-maintained farmhouse, but the inside blends modern features with original accents (like exposed wood beams).
The kitchen sports contemporary cabinets and a plethora of modern appliances, including the coolest kettle I've seen on my trips. There's a plethora of utensils and all that one needs for cooking, including -- a rarity -- a wall over.
The beds are comfy and I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower.
The AC is one of those Mitsubishi model that has a quiet mode, great for nighttime and light sleepers.
The backyard has a few trees and a perfect place to put a hammock and enjoy the evening, maybe with a glass of fabulous local wines.
There's a grocery store around the corner and several small restaurants in the city center.
The village itself is about 20 minutes away from Trieste and the local roads are well maintained, with gorgeous vineyards and yet minimal traffic. It's about an hour, hour-and-a-half to Kranjska Gora / Triglav National Park, depending what route you take (either way the whole area is breathtaking).
Ljubljana is also about an hour and a half away.

Cosy and good equipt studio. Kitchen is equiped with all you need (detergent, salt, pepper, oil, teebags), so you do not have to buy it all. Everything was clean, terrce is nice addition for summer. Location is in village centre so there is not a lot of space arround and the terrace is best, wat can be done, where garden is not available. Plants arround terrace make it better feeling :) Self check-In and Check-out works great if you like to be free and not wach for arrival time.
The apartment was clean. There was enough kitchenware. There are board games and a few children's toys, which our little child appreciated. We also liked that upon arrival, the air conditioner was already running, and it was cool.
The apartment was central of the region. Close to the Italian border, not far from the coast. It's a very pretty region, looks like Tuscany. Sonja, the owner came by and even invited us to a local event.

The nature surrounding the house is very nice and it's quiet and relaxed. It's definitely advised to come with a car as its quite remote.
The two owners were very nice and friendly, explained everything, let us use their garden and even made a delicious dinner! We had a very great time there, working remotely was no problem as the internet is fast.

The approach through the scrapyard to the semi-dilapidated farmhouse is somewhat shocking, but the rear wing matches the photographs on display. The apartments themselves are just like the photos - new, beautiful, comfortably equipped, and spacious.
Convenient parking, large outdoor terrace, barbecue, everything available. Large TV connected to the internet - Netflix, YouTube... Bottle of wine to welcome you.
