Loved our very brief time here! Apartment was incredible - fully modernized with everything you need but in an ancient building with all the historic character. It was in a perfect location too. We were traveling on bikes and loved that there was a safe and easy place to store the bikes too. Communication was smooth and easy.

The views from the windows to the mountains was one that could hold your attention. It was a short walk turning left and in a few paces seeing strings of lights where you will find a Cafe with warm food and equally warm hosts. Ask for a galão. It is not far from the Forum shopping center or for that matter center of Viseu. Then there is Marcelo. The best host you may every find. Bar none. Oh, and the Church bells. I miss hearing them on the hour and half-hour.

Joana was a lovely host ! the apartment is extremely well located, within a walking distance to major historical sites and amenities. it's a cozy 2 bedroom place, with an open kitchen/living room area, tucked away in a quiet side street.
We were met at the bus station by the hosts son, who help with translating at the apartment. Our hosts handed us the keys and gave us some information about the apartment. They also presented us with a local pastry on our arrival which was very kind and there was a bottle of water in the fridge.
The apartment is adjacent to the Cathedral and museums with a good range of restaurants less than 100 metres away. However we heard no noise during the night.
The apartment was well equipped for longer stays. I would highly recommend.
The location is excellent. Next door to the beautiful old town (5minutes walk) where some of the magnificent historical buildings are! Big spacious rooms! (bedroom and living room!). Very clean! Lovely cafe in front of the apartment, plenty of choices of tasty Portuguese breakfast! Easy and fast communication! We where welcome by the owner, very cheerful and polite!
Central location, close to everything. Well appointed apartment with a good supply of cooking utensil, crockery and cutlery, Good size bathroom and shower. Host was very communicative, kind and considerate. highly recommended.
