Sometimes the photos on booking make the place look better than it actually is, with this place it's absolutely the other way around.
The pictures don't do this place justice, it is one amazing location and an amazing room with everything you want. It felt like a little paradise just for us and we almost didn't want to leave the nest!

The apartment was very nice and clean. The terrace had a beautiful view on the ocean protected by window shields, which was the perfect location to enjoy a calm breakfast or a drink at sunset.
Breakfast option is available but decided to not have the service.
The bathroom was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hairdryer and big towels. Towels for the swimming pool were provided too. The bed was big and comfortable.
The swimming pool and the terrace are lovely to chill after a day of going around the island.
Staff was friendly and helpful and provided all the information via text.
There are some cards of restaurants available in the hall in case you need suggestions but we also cooked in the kitchen one night: very helpful to have the small bags of olive oil, vinaigrette, pepper and salt as well as the Microwave and the toaster.
A car is needed.

The house had everything you need, even more then you would expect from a rental house. The lady was super super lovely , she checked in a couple of times how we were. The appartement was also very big, it was perfect. Definitely would come back here!!

During our stay at Villa Varzea in Sao Miguel island, we found the apartment to be excellent. It was spacious, well-designed, and fulfilled our needs. The guide handbook provided was informative and helped us navigate the island's attractions. The check-in process was efficient and hassle-free. We had a pleasant experience overall and would recommend Villa Varzea for a comfortable stay on Sao Miguel island.

The Design Nest is appropriately named as it is a beautiful apartment. We had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host, Monique, is terrific and super knowledgeable and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
Very spacious apartment, we liked the two floors and the big terrace. The garden is also available if you want to have some sun naps. The kitchen had all the appliances, there was also complimentary tea and coffee available.
Private parking is available on-site. Some easy walking routes are just around the corner.
The location is great for reaching the airport and Sete Ciadades area. The area is very quiet and with no noise except for occasional cows and horses passing by.
