I booked the terrace studio of Casa Nunes on a last minute impulse to celebrate my birthday in beautiful Pinhão. I arrived from Porto by train - Casa Nunes has several rentals on the host's property which is just up the street from the train station in Pinhão. The host family was very kind and welcoming, and the apartment has a lovely view of the Douro River through the back gate at the top level of the property. The unit I stayed in seemed nearly new, it was tasteful and very comfortable. The small refrigerator was filled with food for my breakfasts, there was also fruit, coffee, tea and a large bottle of water. There's a lovely private patio sitting area that in warmer weather would be a perfect spot to read or eat breakfast. This was decorated for Christmas and I loved the little tree! The hosts live on the property, but were very considerate of my privacy. I really enjoyed my stay!

Stunning, renovated room with a beautiful marble bathroom. We stayed in the suite which had a lounge room which was the perfect place to relax. Large windows along the entire apartment so we had them all open allowing the breeze to flow in. The owner knows how to do hospitality, from the easy checkin process to the little details in our room, breakfast was delicious including homemade pastries and so many options for all breakfast tastes.
Wonderful renovated 2 bedroom apartment. Very cosy and homely furniture which made it very special. We went in winter and the apartment was very warm and we really enjoyed our stay. The host Tania meet us upon arrival and showed us around. She made our stay even better and helped us organize a wine tasting tour at Mont Tevesso. Se stayed in the second floor and it had a nice view of the valley from the bedroom. Highly recommended in a very peaceful and relaxing village.
A spotlessly clean, comfortable apartment. The bedroom and bathroom are stunning. Air conditioning a plus, as are the laundry facilities. Lovely terrace, great views, quiet little village. Easy access to other areas of the Douro. Parking in the apartments’ car park is tricky if you have a big car but possible. There is also some easier parking at the top of the street nearby. Need to drive to restaurants. Limited bench space to prepare food. We really loved our stay here. Easy communication with owner. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Staff was so helpful and friendly. The apartment amenities were all you could ask for. The pool and property were stunning. It was a quiet location. Mini bar with local was amazing and great value. The breakfast was very very nice. I would recommend walking the trails around the property. Numerous fruit trees and vast orchard with history pathways. Great hike. Parking was ample and shaded.

The apartment was wonderful. We had everything we needed. The bathroom has to be one of the nicest I have ever seen in a rental apartment. We loved the view, the terrace, and of course the pool. The pool was delightful and private even though you are in the middle of a town.
