I booked the terrace studio of Casa Nunes on a last minute impulse to celebrate my birthday in beautiful Pinhão. I arrived from Porto by train - Casa Nunes has several rentals on the host's property which is just up the street from the train station in Pinhão. The host family was very kind and welcoming, and the apartment has a lovely view of the Douro River through the back gate at the top level of the property. The unit I stayed in seemed nearly new, it was tasteful and very comfortable. The small refrigerator was filled with food for my breakfasts, there was also fruit, coffee, tea and a large bottle of water. There's a lovely private patio sitting area that in warmer weather would be a perfect spot to read or eat breakfast. This was decorated for Christmas and I loved the little tree! The hosts live on the property, but were very considerate of my privacy. I really enjoyed my stay!

The host and her mother were very helpful, they showed us the accomodation (the address on the website is not accurate) and then tried to do everything in order to keep our bikes safe. The flat itself was very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice! Everything was clean, too!
Beautiful flat in a very cute village. You’ll enjoy drinking a port wine on the terrasse after a long day exploring the beautiful Douro valley. Easy check-in process and you have a small Mercado right in front of the flat (however bring your own supplies for cooking at the flat)
The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Everything was working well. Nice atmosphere in the village. Nice view from the apartment (our cat enjoyed it, too!). Host were very responsive and helpful. They also gave us a very nice welcoming gift, tomato from the garden, some port wine, and other local products. Close to a river beach (8 mins by car). Located in the center of douro, good if you plan to travel around the region.
What a wonderful surprise. The apartment is beautiful, nicely decorated and it feels like home. Everything is new and super clean and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Definitely to come back.
We needed a central location to wonder around, so this place meet our expectations. We have the douro 5 min car to chill in the hot days, and we had a train station close as well. The apartment is decorated with a lot of beautiful details...for my taste....is decently a plus. Someone takes care of this little things!
