Beautiful view over the ocean. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The balcony is a bit small with the ACs there too, but the garden is accessible to all guests.

Quinta da Paz is a perfect place to calm down and relax! The gardens are amazing with the avocado and mandarin trees and we enjoyed the eggs of the chickens. Claudia is super friendly and gives you a lot of tips about the island. Also the jacuzzi is great to relax in after a day of hiking (just be aware that it closes at 19:00h). There is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also bikes available.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
I recommend Maria's excellent accommodation! There were ten of us, and we comfortably fit into the 6 rooms. The apartment is fully equipped and clean. Upon our arrival, some local delicacies awaited us on the table. The garden was filled with banana trees bearing fruit. The area is quiet and peaceful. Maria is an attentive host. Thank you!

The apartment is well located in a quiet area with good road access. The view from the window is great. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. A very polite and caring host. Due to the delay of the plane, we arrived one day late and the host offered us to extend our stay by 1 day.
