Excellent location. Great view. Lots of room. Welcome gift of port and snacks. Victor is an excellent host. We had a flat battery the morning we were leaving so I called him and he sent his housekeeper and her husband to start our car. We then asked where we can get a new battery from and the housekeepers son was a mechanic. They took us to him and he replaced the battery. Excellent service and got us out of a lot of trouble thank you to Victor. We would love to stay again.

We loved everything about the place and the surrounding. What a peaceful oase! We looked for a place between Lissabon and Porto where we can experience the Douro Valley for a few days and this place met all our wishes and expectations. You DO need a car though.
We’ve been welcomed by a lovely owner Emanuele which owns also a bakery close by. That’s where the warm bread each morning for breakfast came from. And…they make the most delicious Pastel de Nata! If you look for a peaceful place, look no further.

The small house is very comfortable. You will find there all what you need to spend a very good time. The area is amazing - beautiful village. The hosts are very kind and communicative. I can highly recommend this accommodation.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. It is more then apartment, it is an experience. 250 y old stone village in the middle of the valley, with hundred year old school and old public laundry place. It feels like time is stoppped in that amazing place. Was nice to explore all around. It is only few minutes from Pinhao by car. The house was very clean, newly equipped, everything was in working condition. It was absolutely the best our stay during our trip to Portugal!
Victor is an amazing host, when we just arrived we were greeted by 2007 wine from the vineyard next to the apartment, victor made us also a tour in the vineyard and about the process of making the wine.
And the view is more than amazing.
The only downside is that we couldn’t stay for more!

Superb location, period decor suited to the apartment. All needed conveniences. Owner left treats including cold cuts, cheese and wine. Owner very helpful when one member of our party lost wallet.
We had a great experience from the first contact till the last farewell. The host of the Quinta is a nice and interesting person. I was so keen on knowing more about the vines and vineyards, Vitor answered all my questions and even showed us around. They met us with a welcome gift (amazing vine and some snacks which was totally unexpected); suggested some good places to eat and explore. And the scenery from the apartment... worth a million..

Apartments are huge, clean and very nice. Kitchen with full equipment. Big terrace and awesome view! Host amazing, she left us welcome food and in the morning bring flowers :)
What can I say about this Quinta, other than it was perfect. The owners are lovely, generous and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. We even had a private wine tour and tasting, which was fascinating. I have never tasted 2 week old wine before, which was surprisingly good. The apartment was huge, with everything we needed and the views incredible.
