Casa do Quintalao is super well located, 10-15min drive from all the cool beaches like Beliche, Castelejo, Salema, … the town is super local and quiet, which for us was great as we were trying to scape the touristy areas. The room was super clean and comfortable, a very decent size, and the owner is so lovely! The property has a very big and beautiful garden. We stayed for a full week and hope to be back next year!!

The house is located in a small village, located strategically between several beautiful beaches (Zavial, Furnasa, Figueira). We came to relax at the beaches and go for walks along the coast. Compared to central Algarve, it is much less crowded and we felt the peace. The beaches were also not affected by algae growth unlike in most of Algarve currently. The house is relatively new and very well equipped, we did not miss anything. The sofa area made it specially cozy. The host was helpful and responsive.

The place is big and comes with everything you need for a longer stay. Big living room, big bedroom, two ground floor terraces facing the pool, bathroom with a bathtub, and a nice size kitchen with everything you need including washing machine.
The place also has a tennis court if that is something you fancy, but I am not sure how to book it or if it is first come - first serve. You have your own free parking lot right in front of the entry, so that is convenient.
Location-wise, it is very central and not too far from a number of restaurants or Praia da Mareta. But still good to have a car as Melides is a decent size town and it can be chilly even during high summer due to strong winds and sub-20C degrees most days.

Nice apartment in the quiet street, Ana was very helpful we got more we received many useful tips for the holiday from her. Upon arrival, we saw a beautifully lit castle by the road, but I couldn't remember where? She found out for us.
Leandre was super communicative and proactive. Check-in was easy and the apartment was perfect for our short stay. The little guest present and the patio with the terrace were our highlights. Highly recommended.
