The property is immaculately clean, super comfortable and spacious and the views are stunning, especially from the terrace. The hosts are incredibly nice and make you feel very much at home. There is everything you could possibly need: fully equipped kitchen (with tea and coffee as well!), washing machine, hair dryer, etc… and there is hair conditioner (as a person who never manages to find conditioner available in any accommodation, this was super nice!). Just to put the cherry on top of the cake: you have access to the garden which is full of herbs planted by the hosts available for your cooking. It’s a shame that the accommodation for the following nights was non refundable because we would have loved to stay here longer! Looking forward to coming back.

From booking, through Checkin, getting keys all was very well organized. We even got some things provided like a few coffee tabs, tea bags, washing powder etc. the view from 2! Ballooned is amazing and location wise you cannot expect more.

The location is very convenient, and you can watch the sunrise from the terrace. The staff is always in touch and tries to help with various questions. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. A bottle of wine and water was a pleasant surprise.

Apartamento Maria is a very large, clean, airy and comfortable apartment with wonderful views and easy access by car to the mountain trails. Maria was discreet, but attentive when we needed anything and we were appreciative of the fruit and cake on our arrival. We very much enjoyed our trip to Fanal Forest and highly recommend it to fellow travellers. We got there between 10.30am and 11.00am which was the perfect time to capture the trees emerging from the fog. It was such a magical experience, not to be missed! We also loved our hike to see the 25 fountains. The trail was quite hard going but worth it. There is a cafe on the route where you can enjoy a well deserved drink and cake afterwards and enjoy the breath-taking views. We would suggest you get the minibus from the cafe back to the car park to save walking 2.5k uphill at the end of your hike. The mini bus costs 5 euro and is well worth it. We also enjoyed a trip to the Natural Park where we enjoyed more hiking trails. The mountain views were spectacular and the cafe has epic views. Apartamento Maria is very well positioned to access all these wonderful places and a great base to return to for a relaxing drink on the balcony. There is also a restaurant next door which serves very good food and the owners are lovely and friendly and great hosts. All in all we were very happy at Apartamento Maria and highly recommend it.

The apartment is very spacious and modern. We enjoyed the very central location, next to the natural pools of Porto Moniz. The terrace gives an amazing view on the ocean during breakfast or dinner. We appreciated having access to a private underground parking since we had with a rental car.
Nice studio apartment, liked that we could cook food there, perfect location in Porto Moniz, less than 5 minute walk away from the front and the natural pools.
Very spacious apartment with great views over the mountain (we were the corner apartment on the 2nd floor - 007). Fantastic kitchen amenities - kettle, coffee machine, toastie maker, blender, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, plus all the crockery, etc. Also, great utility room with washing machine. Easy communication from the letting agent, super smooth check in. Great location - we were more than pleased with value for money.
