It was easy to get on street parking within 100m of the building. The apartment is one floor above the laundromat. The village is quiet at night. The host met us onsite and showed us the facilities. She was very welcoming and offered biscuits and cherry liquor with chocolate cups. Clean and comfortable. The mezzanine has the double mattress and a low ceiling.

For self catering it has everything you need. The main room is large and both the main room and bedroom have great views and small terraces to sit out and have a drink. The host, Tiago, was very welcoming and was always available if we had any queries or to offer suggestions. The apartment is located just outside the town walls which makes it easy to reach every part of the medieval town through the various gates.
This house is fantastic - as was the host! The house has everything you need, two beautiful rooms, is right in the heart of Obidos, and has a lovely garden to relax and share some drinks in. Honestly, one of the best stays I've had through flat/apartment renting (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc). They host checked-in on us, offered great suggestions for sightseeing and eating, and made us feel very welcomed.
Beautiful modern apartment and just outside the Óbidos walls, short walk away. Tiago and Dora are excellent hosts, giving us extensive tips on things to see and do in the area and helping out with restaurant recommendations and reservations.
Fantastic apartment in walking distance to Obidos attractions and restaurants. Once you park your car in front of the place, you wont need it until your departure. The flat is modern, very comfortable and well equipped. What made the difference is our Host Tiago and his wife. Their warm welcome and detailed explanations of how to best visit the Obidos were of great value. Their excellent restaurant recommendation and lovely welcome snacks were also a very nice touch. We can't recommend Mood Lodging enough!
Excellent value for money, the studio/apartment was actually a lot bigger than we were expecting with a separate living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. All of the areas were clean and tidy with plenty of amenities. Easy parking right outside the front of the apartment. Great location outside of the Obidos old Town but only about 5 minutes drive to get there. It would be nice for a longer stay, unfortunately we were only booked for one night.
We had a fantastic time in Obidos with two families. The cottage was great. We rented the downstairs and upstairs apartment. Each family had its place and together we had a terrace. The house is located in an incredibly quiet street on the edge of the village and between fields. You can do everything on foot, but the area around Obidos is mountainous, nothing is flat.
Unique Medieval house right inside the old Medieval city walls makes this place very special. Can walk up onto the town walls from just outside and the Main Street is 1 minute away. A cafe operates immediately next door which is convenient. Spacious apartment with loft bedroom, living room, separate kitchen, charming old style windows. Large shower in (lower level) bathroom with plenty of hot water.
amazing apartment with lovely hosts Dora and Tiago. Tiago spent time explaining about the town and area which was so helpful. They both were very kind and lovely it was more like staying with friends. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed very comfortable, amazing view too. Easy parking for the car and flat entrance to apartment which was good for us oldies. But still very close to the town and restaurants.
Me and my partner were so happy we stayed at Mood Lodging. Tiago could not have been more helpful in our short stay. He took the time to come and pick us up from the station and walk us through the town with his recommendations on great places to eat and drink and interesting things to see. The apartment itself was super cute, clean and with all the amenities you needed (as well as some delicious obidos snacks and home made Ginja Tiago provided!). Would definitely recommend you stay here if visiting Obidos.
