I was really surprised by the apartament. It is a wonderful two-level house with a garden and a parking spot. The rooms are very stylishly furnished. The location was very quiet but not far from the city. The view from the bedroom through the large window is beautiful. What I really like is that there was enough coffee for the whole stay and even some snacks :)

First of all the host and her family are the most accommodating and friendly people of the island ! Nothing is a problem and everything is possible !Secondly, the decoration, facilities, location… all that was perfect. A feeling to be home .Finally, the Pico welcoming plate was extremely touching, in this place you are handle as a temporary member of the family, this is wonderful !!!

The apartment exceeded our expectation. We had apartment number 5 which was on the top floor of the building. It had nice views accross the town of Madalena and Fajal island. Further we enjoyed the roof terrace which is shared with the other appartments but we usually had it to ourselves.
Natural swimming pools and supermarket were on walking distance (~600m flat).
Joao was an excellent host who explained passionately about his island and his view of tourism development.
Spacious, comfortable apartment with fantastic view like one you would find on a postcard, located close to everything you would need or want in Madalena. Also Emilia, the host, is super nice and very helpful.
Joao was great to deal with to collect the keys and took time to show me around the apartment on check in. Having laundry available was great after a week of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The room was very spacious. It was also great to have on site parking (a rental car is needed). The location of the apartment is very convenient to the main area with restaurants and bars, but will not being impacted by any late night noise.
Very nicely decorated two-floor apartment, friendly staff (especially Anna) who explained us everything and gave us a lot of recommendations what to do on Pico Island. The apartment is also very close to the sea and has an outdoor terrace. Definitely recommended to have a sea view apartment and a rental car.
The house/apartment is bright and lofty - the interior design is cozy and homey, just what we'd been looking for.
Well equipped kitchen, large fridge, spacious bathroom and terrace with great views of the Atlantic. Close to the main island road, it is easy to reach.
The studio is in a great location for the view and the quietness. You can admire the sunset immersed in the vineyards and fall asleep to the sound of the Azores' birds, with the ocean on one side and mount Pico on the other. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The porch is a great addition. Even if each building is composed of 2 apartments, you do not feel that there is no privacy (or at least we were lucky in having a quiet couple as neighbors).
Just want to clarify that we were in apartment 3.
The flat is quite big for 3 people with 2 bedrooms, a large living room and a large bathroom with shower.
There is a fridge and washing machine, coffee machine with coffee pods and some detergent for the washing machine, a large sofa that becomes bed, parking space is behind the house which is handy.
Location is ok, 15 mis walk max to the centre and the harbour.
Joao was kind to pick us up at the harbour as we arrived with the ferry and was responsive when we had questions.
