Quinta da Paz is a perfect place to calm down and relax! The gardens are amazing with the avocado and mandarin trees and we enjoyed the eggs of the chickens. Claudia is super friendly and gives you a lot of tips about the island. Also the jacuzzi is great to relax in after a day of hiking (just be aware that it closes at 19:00h). There is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also bikes available.

Everything was great! The apartament is very clean, modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the amazing view of the ocean from the balcony, since the apartment is on the 8th floor. In the other rooms you can see the view of Ponta Delgada city. The access to car parking was provided by the host so you don't need to worry about leaving your car on the street. In terms of location, it is near the city center, public swimming pool. Downstairs is a grocery shop and many bakeries, restaurants etc. Thanks to the host who was very caring and nice for a fantastic stay!

The house had everything you need, even more then you would expect from a rental house. The lady was super super lovely , she checked in a couple of times how we were. The appartement was also very big, it was perfect. Definitely would come back here!!

Very beautiful and comfortable apartment in lagoa city in front of the ocean and 3 minutes walking from the public pools of lagoa. There is everything you need in the house. The position is great because it’s at 20/30 minutes from every site to visit of the island. The host is very kind and helpful with everything you need. He will send you a guide few days before your arrival ( please read the guide !!) with all the informations you need. There is a park for the car in front of the house.
This was a 10/10 points apartment right in the city centre of Lagoa. Around were shops, snack bars, bakery, the area was not loud. Apartment was very nicely renovated, everything was comfortable and clean. Lot of place. :) Compared with other accommodations in Sao Miguel island, this was really the best!

It is really great apartment, located in the middle of the island. View is great to the ocean from the own garden, in front of a banana plantation. Jacuzzi is nice and easy to use after a day hike. We loved to stay here, washing machine and dryer was a must and we used it. Would come back for sure!
Great apartment. We had probably one of the best apartments with lots of private outdoor space and privacy. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Spacious studio, comfortable bed. Perfect location to explore the island by car.

The apartment is luxurious and spacious, cozy beds and offers privacy and comfort. Our hosts were really engaged and always kind and hlepful.
Everything about the place was great: location right by the beach and very close to the Lagoa pools; very clean, spacious, beautifully set up apartment (we stayed in penthouse B); the place has everything you need and the hosts are very welcoming. I highly recommend Faraway apartments! Will definitely stay here again.
What an incredible room with amazing sea views. Great little studio with a little kitchenette. Parking is available (and safe) right in front of each villa. Breakfast is good and access to the gym & jacuzzi & pool is right there (even in winter!).
Very well located, right 15min from Ponta Delgada and within 30 to 45 minutes from anywhere on the island (as long as you've got a rental).
