The space has been renovated really tastefully, with lovely, high quality furnishings. It is spacious (I could do yoga!) but also cosy, and well insulated (and spotless). We used the kitchen on two occasions and it's great for simple meals. There are local shops a minute away and a big supermarket 5 mins by car.
Teresa and Francisco were a delight, giving us fruit from the garden and being available for anything we needed. The town is quite quiet but we enjoyed staying here and it's within easy driving distance (20-30 mins) of the Coa Park rock engravings and only 10 minutes from the start of the scenic train line to Oporto. (It's a nicer town than Vila Nova). You can also access nice walks in the hillside straight from the accommodation. I'd love to go back in Spring to see everything in flower. Overall, a lovely stay. The house is excellently located and was spotless upon our arrival. The kitchen is well-equipped, but be aware that there is no washing machine. The check-in process was very easy, as the host was waiting for us downstairs.

Nice comfortable ground floor apartment, though a little dark being a converted garage. The shower could do with a bit of "finishing off" but worked fine with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave,gas hob and oven, would benefit from having a kettle. Overall a nice place .
Wonderful apartment, perfect for a family getaway. Fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool in the backyard, and large sofa-bed in the living room. Walking distance from the local grocery store and across the street from the town's police station.
Great apartment in a wonderful town. We were a group of 6 and we were very comfortable in the apartment. Paulo was a great host, very friendly and welcoming, and spoke English well. And the price was very reasonable.
A lovely apartment nestled away in a very quiet part of the village but close enough to walk to the shops and bars. The apartment is very comfortable and peaceful, I really enjoyed the one night I stayed, I only wish I could've stayed longer.
The views from the accommodation were spectacular looking down onto the Douro. The apartment was spacious with the whole front being sliding glass doors. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but had very little English.
