The house was very clean, comfortable and everything you could ever need was there. Catarina and Carlos clearly care a lot about their guests. They even left a sweet note and some treats for our dog.

Loved the quietness, the amazing feeling of being in the countryside, the smell of the wild flowers. The weather wasnt great but kids loved the pool. It was also nice to mingle with "Neighbours". A very interesting part is that for the first time we travelled with our dog. It was great. We went for long walks, saw some rabbits, she was extremely excited. We all loved it. 15 min by car and we get to Estremoz where we had 2 marvelous meals. Food is great and the town is very welcoming and charming

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Évora Monte. The house is a traditional Alentejo cottage, super clean, and had a beautiful private garden with flowers and plants where we could relax on hot days. Évora Monte itself is quiet and perfect for rest, offering a genuine taste of Portuguese Alentejo life. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Estremoz, is the closest village with supermarkets (Continente, Lidel, etc). Every Saturday they have a flea market where they sell secondhand goods, small furniture and traditional food. The city is lovely to explore, with its beautiful buildings adding to its charm. If you have time, visiting the city of Évora is highly recommended. It is rich in history and culture, well-known museums and attractive tourist spots. Overall, this property is an excellent place to spend your holidays if you want to enjoy and appreciate the local Alentejo lifestyle. Highly recommended!
