Quinta da Paz is a perfect place to calm down and relax! The gardens are amazing with the avocado and mandarin trees and we enjoyed the eggs of the chickens. Claudia is super friendly and gives you a lot of tips about the island. Also the jacuzzi is great to relax in after a day of hiking (just be aware that it closes at 19:00h). There is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also bikes available.

The house had everything you need, even more then you would expect from a rental house. The lady was super super lovely , she checked in a couple of times how we were. The appartement was also very big, it was perfect. Definitely would come back here!!

The host João was incredibly welcoming, we had to book in quite last minute due to a plane cancellation at the airport but even so he had everything ready for us upon our arrival, him and his family were so friendly and helpful, provided breakfast and a fridge full of food for us, plus organised a taxi for us back to the airport the next morning, the only thing we weren’t happy with is that we couldn’t stay longer, a brilliant stay!

Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. This is one of the best apartments with a gorgeous view. The house has everything! There are all the utensils for cooking, glasses, tableware. The owners provide hiking equipment! And also towels for trips to the thermal springs. A large boleon on which it is very pleasant to have breakfast and spend evenings.
The apartment is nice and has everything you need for an active, hiking stay. Utilities to dry and wash your clothes are available. Bathroom has everything you need too.
It was very nice and spacious apartment (it was 2 of us). Joao had even some fruits and water on the table for us. Very well equipped kitchen for making food. Parking just in front of the building. Washing machine worked well. Possible to dry on balcony. Wifi was fast and worked well. Easy to get in and leave as there was key box. Very good experience, recommend.

Very nice residence with few apartments, a beautiful garden with pool and the sound of the powerful ocean in the background. The staff has been more than amazing, always available for any need. Let me thank especially Suzanna and Hugo for making hour holiday time special. We will be back again for sure!
